Hi there,

Can anyone advise me on renting cheap acommodation in Calgary?
I am planning a recce trip for 10 days at the end of this month to look at the job market and hopefully apply and attend interviews while there and am looking for affordable acommodation for myself.
Any advise would be much appreciated.

I can recommend a great place in dewinton just south of Calgary If thats any use, very reasonable and a gut bustin breakfast If you stay BnB

Almost Canadian

Super 8 in Shawnessy. Cheap, all you can eat breakfast, indoor pool, close to shops, close to C-Train. Don`t even consider its cousin in the NW.

Any website addresses where i can book in advance? When i say cheap i mean reasonable for just 1 person to stay in. Not looking for luxury acommodation. Thanks in advance.

We stayed with a nice couple in Chaparral (south west calgary) for a week in Feb. They rent out their spacious basement (2 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, living area) fairly cheap.

We booked it through Fiona @ Canilink Relocation www.canilink.com [email protected] They have a few properties that they rent out for short term trips. Just let them know when your arriving for how long and they will let you know what they have available.
