Marketing? Souv is yer man there. My only thought would be if the Masters is for use in North America then I'd go for the one from a North American institution everytime.

The answer will depend upon what use you intend to put them.

I take it you are looking at a career in marketing:rofl:

Thanks AX, my thoughts were similar. Only problem for me is I hate (with a passion) the whole 'MBA mentality'

Curious as to why you'd choose Phoenix over options available from Canadian institutions Butch.

If you want to chat anytime, drop me a line, I've recently gained promotion to Director of Marketing at TRU, so maybe I can give you some insight.

Er, is he? News to me. I may be a DipM MCIM but I know bugger all about marketing. I only did the exams because the company I then worked for liked its consultants to have as many letters after their names as possible. I keep paying the CIM annual membership for the same reason.

I'd agree, though, that a degree from a North American institution might be an easier sell in the North American market.

Every man and his dog seems to have an MBA these days.

Exactly, which is why (in my tiny little mind) I was looking at the MSc

I can understand that. I'm doing a MBA at Memorial here in St John's. Why? Because it's a qualification from a Canadian insitution, it helps broaden me from a Supply Chain guy to something more and it's a local networking opportunity. It's also being paid for by my employer which helps!

The MUN programme is not exactly top flight business school but is good enough for my needs.
