Advice on re-entering Canada
 

Hi All,

I'm going back to Canada after being there on a 1 year open work permit. I returned back home for the Christmas period and I'm going to go back sometime in Jan. I'm going back onto the visa of my common-law partner as her partner. All paperwork etc is gathered and looks good. I've been getting conflicting advice about when is the best time to go back through the border(Vancouver). I was wondering does anyone have suggestions on whether to go back 1st week of Jan or leave it till after the 10th so the christmas rush is over?
