Accomodation and Rentals

Hi All

We are looking to stay in the Vancouver area for a few days whikst we look at apatments etc. Can anyone advise on where (apart from looking at Google) may be a cheaper option than ones we have seen advertised on the net. Also we are looking at apartments or basement suites....any ideas on where best to look? we have looked at Craigslist too. Thanks for any help you guys x

Hi There,

We have looked at various hotels and B and Bs, around the City, we have been priced between 100 dollars and 200 dollars for 2 adults and one child per night. We looked at renting a basement for a few days but that seems few and far between. The aprtment we priced was 1800 dollars per month for a small 2 bedroomed and we would like a little cheaper, that was in a place called Oakridge. We would like the Oakridge area for our long tern acommodation we think? but don't mind where our short term is. Thanks again x

Oakridge? If you're worrying about costs now, maybe that area is somewhere you might want to avoid ;). It's also a very busy area for traffic.

$100 to $200 per night looks about right to me, depending on hotel and location. I couldn't tell you which budget places are better, or who they are, since i've not used any, sorry.
