The court action might be the reason why processing times are increasing now - not only is there a low passmark but CIC offices are having to devote resources (and visas) to pre-2002 cases. At the end of the day - if it gets to a stage where there are 500k or so applications backlogged in the system, and only 100k or so visas available per year, then something has surely got to give? Angela :p Angela One thing to bear in mind is the fact that the visa officer in question handling your case [ anyone's case] has considerable discretion in evaluating your application, irrespective of the points total you have at any given time - all of which, of course, only adds to the confusion of the entire issue... You couldn't make it up if you tried. |
