*Dumb Question Alert* Things to do in TO?

We'll be in TO next Friday for 3 days, and are just wondering what you suggest we should do?

Dumb question I know, but with so many things being suggested from all angles, I am just curious as to what would make your list?

Having just lost my job last week, money is a little tighter than we originally planned...so do go easy on us :p

Thanks!

Head up the CN Tower and jump off.

Good luck with job hunting.

That's disgustingly helpful. :(

The Distillery Historic District. http://www.thedistillerydistrict.com/

Take the Queen Streetcar to the east terminus and walk back (west) to Woodbine. It's an interesting and pleasant shopping/housing area.

Take a walk through THE PATH. Start at Union Station and it will bring you out at the Eaton Centre. http://www.toronto.ca/path/

The Rogers Centre

The Air Canada Centre

Any ladies may enjoy a walk along Bloor Street from Bay Street to Avenue Road.

It's not exactly on your doorstep, but closer to TO than NS, but make sure you visit Niagara Falls at least once (if you haven't already). It's breathtaking.

Seconded, as is the zoo at High Park (which is worth a visit in its own right). Would also add these other free things:

Allen Gardens glass houses (any time before nightfall)
A walk up the Don Valley Parkway
Evergreen Brickworks
The Beaches (depending on the weather)

It's always worth seeing what is going on at Dundas Square and while the weather is good on weekends there are often some street performers and buskers by the lake shore between Spadina and Yonge.

Ah yes...you just brought back lots of memories. Been there countless times with my own kids many moons ago. Probably best for kids 10 and under.

Definitely take a ferry out to the island park area.
