Setting up a baking business from home

Hi, I have lived in Hiversum for 6 months and now want to start a little baking from home business. I have no idea now to get started with the red tape. Do I need to register the business itself and what about hygiene Certs and registering with the environmental department? Any advice or help woud be appreciated. Many thanks.

Start it as a hobby and not as a business. It may not even be viable unless you have niche market. Unless you are planning on producing thousands of products a day right from the start it's just not worth it. You mention the bureaucracy in your posting..you can expect plenty of that.. so much so that any fun you had in your craft will be lost.. start with friends and neighbours and do plenty of research.
