I don't care if it's a cup as long as it's mug-sized.
I've experienced 2 minor fires in apartment buildings, both involving washing machines on different floors from when I was staying. Didn't like the smell a bit, even weeks after.
Why would anyone buy tea that tastes and smells horrible like that? Is that what firemen drink?

Coffee - Nescafe is fine for me. Preferably with South African rusks for dunking

And here's the recipe

Yeah, home made are the best! . Unfortunately there's a shortage of tannies (aunties) around here to make them. I buy them at Jumbo Importers in Colnbrook instead. They had a special on about a month ago (around £1,50 a box). The kids are thoroughly addicted to them so I bought 8 boxes. They lasted us just over two weeks

Great coffee and tea dunkers though.

The missus, however, loves her tea. Builders tea. The stronger the better. Yorkshire in preference. Let it soak and then muller the bag against the side of the mug (yea, mug, not cup you soft southern ponce) with a spoon or (given that we empty the dishwasher roughly once every month) your thumb. Oh and on taking the first swig, it's obligatory to let out a large, 'ahhhh' sound.
We had a trip to Whitby once and had a lovely fish & chip supper served up with.......mushy peas! Yuk! What the hell is that all about?!!

Yep, guilty as charged! I'm a Southerner for sure - it's warmer down here! I do like York though - beautiful place, and they've got nice tea rooms there too!

Re: Are you a Tea or Coffee person?
My North Yorkshire family only drink tea out of china cups; they say anything else and it doesn't taste right. They try to serve me instant coffee in them too - thankfully I have my own travel plunger mug
But of course! I have fish, chips and mushy peas every time I go back (I'm from 22 miles north of Whitby.) I'll be having them again in a few weeks. My Mum will insist I have white bread and butter with them too (she'll probably need to delegate the duty this time) and she'll have a cuppa with hers.
