Not really, bit complicated from my POV.... The issue I have, if you do believe in this stuff, then it's the same ole same ole mistake that has proven mankind to be incorrect throughout history. Believing the universe was centered around us and us being the most important beings.
Having said that I reckon there is a higher power, but to think of it in human terms is wrong.
Basically it comes down to the unfathomable oneness of everything. If there is any truth in it, then it's basically totally irrelevant in the big scheme of things. My own personal view of course.

It's quite sad that after years of education (should that be "education" in quotes?) so many people are willing to be taken in by crystals, waving of hands, homeopathy and the like. But a quick glance at any bookshop will show you yards of shelf space filled with books by quacks, deluded, fraudsters and the misinformed.
It's ironic that almost all the people taken in by quackery will happily buy and use their iPads, mobiles, TVs etc - all of which only came about because of the use of the scientific method - yet will equally happily ignore all evidence that shows their beliefs are misplaced.
It's called cognitive dissonance, I think.

Re: Are you a sceptic or a believer?
I went into a shop today and picked up a leaflet advertising a vocal harmony group. I was really interested until the shopkeeper told me that the lady who runs it is a great healer. Apparently when everyone harmonises together, she can summon the angels
Last week, a few of us were in the lunch room and one person said they were off to see a psychic at the weekend. Out of the 4 of us around the table, I was the only sceptic.
I just find all this stuff so hard to believe but I have met many people who absolutely believe it.
What are your views? Have you had any experiences?

I believe there's forms of communication with spirits that some have and some don't that know what's to come in the future and what's happened in the past it's based on the scientific string theory where there's different dimensions of the universe occurring at different times.

Re: Are you a sceptic or a believer?
I like to keep an open mind I used to be skeptical until after a girls day out shopping, lunch and a trip to a tarot reader I thought it'd just be a bit of a laugh to go, I came out totally overwhelmed she knew things no one else did and it wasn't just generic stuff. After that over the years I seen a few others and they've all been pretty accurate apart from the odd one or two.

There are no 'spirits', no heaven, no hell, there is just energy in some form or another be it in the physical form of a human being or some ashes in an urn that used to be one.
If you think that the main urge of this energy is for wholeness ((singing) we are stardust, we are golden and we have to go back to the garden, etc) then it is inevitable that non-intuitive communication pathways exist and "all" we have to do is tune into them, be receptive.
I don't see that science and spirituality have to be mutually exclusive. Just because you have an iPad and appreciate the technology doesn't mean that you can't use that iPad to learn more about more estoric subjects and apply that knowledge to other areas of your life.
Just because you can't measure it doesn't mean that it definitely doesn't exist. Maybe it just means it's not measurable by existing methods, maybe it's on a plane that is necessarily beyond measurement.
That's the thing about trying to use thinking to discover this underlying energy. If something is there before thought then thinking can't be capable of conceptualising it because the energy is pre-thought.
Or something.

If you entertain the view that it (life that is ... you, me, the dog, this keyboard, that pop tart, etc) is all just energy anyway and everything is derived from the same source then there is no seperation.

Exactly I just used the term spirits as that's who or what people that are receptive to communication call it, and lets face it if you start banging on about different dimensions socially your probably classed as even crazier than those that believe in angels and crystals
