That's brilliant! Quick, get the champers into the fridge! It's such a great feeling when you are awarded that shiny new visa, enjoy!

And don't worry too much about the mozzies. I found that one year after arrival they don't bother me nearly as much as they did to begin with. One of the first things we did when we moved into our new home was buy and deploy a cheap and easy to use house fumigation kit to destroy any resident mozzie colonies. We then made good use of the fly screens. Other than that I try and stay indoors at dusk - when they seem to be the most agressive, and use repellant if I'm going to be outdoors in the evening for any long periods. Don't worry about buying repellants in the UK for use over here. The best ones are locally made which I suppose makes sense really.

I'm so excited All I have to do now is wait - such a relief.

I've heard some things about eating marmite and garlic and stuff too - don't know how true it is but I'll try anything once!

Dunno about Queen and the Eagles... I tend to hear this a lot. Perhaps its living in Steel Town that does it?
