Re: Yet another shark attack.......
Saw the channel 7 helicopter flying over yesterday and I said to my wife "I wonder if that's another shark attack then?" Sure enough...
My Mrs dives, she was at Rotto 2 weeks ago diving and going back next weekend. She's pretty much in the ocean at least once a week all year round. She's not worried about sharks and we are both against killing them. Her philosophy is "when it's your time, it's your time"!! |

Don't be ridiculous - Surely helicopters and an army of manual spotters are much more cost effective than static, proven shark nets... S |

The woman who died, 60 year old Doreen Collyer, emigrated from Chester 5 years ago to be closer to her son and grandchild :( She was a nursing lecturer at Perth's Edith Cowan University.

Re: Yet another shark attack.......
Going out killing them (sharks) really makes me angry. It's completely dumb and anyone who goes in the water knows what they may come up against.

A totally pointless exercise People being killed by sharks is not cool but going into the ocean makes you part of the food chain............ |
