Default Years ago I remember...

an artist (not to say she's an artist unless you say lying is an art) announced that he was going to squash a live rat onto a canvas under a 1 ton block of concrete. At that time I strongly suspected that there was far more to his actions than he was letting onto at the time so I followed the story quite closely. Well the media and animal rights people went ballistic (almost tearing their robes and throwing ash around in some religious fever) as the story went round the world - pre-internet viral rocket fuel. On the day of the dreaded act a mob gathered outside his studio early and were ready to tear him apart. In the end the animal rights people had the night before broken into his studio and rat napped the rodent; and until it's dying day lived a better life than 4/5 of the human population of the world... In the end it was revealed that the artist's canvas wasn't the rat guts splattered over a sheet but the media and the other cave dwellers that creep out of their layers (how do you spell lair) ever now and again. Ultimately he played the media and extremists very skillfully - artfully really. They all crawled back under their rocks red faced and defiant at the same time and the world forgot about sniffy the rat.

But today with no way of escaping the circus until I had the epiphany to turn off the radio and tv (by the way anyone want a free tv and radio?) and instead stream radio in from a civilized part of the planet... I was reminded of that story because of this idiot.

Kim Duffy, or what ever her name is, has done something quite similar. I don't commend her (lets face it she's a ______. Fill in what ever adjective you feel appropriate) but she has shown how stupid the media and those scurrying around her like cock roaches are. She has played them extremely well and will ultimately toss them aside like the shit they are laughing all the way to the bank. The media and "experts", like they always do, will stammer and trip over their tongues to find the words to rip her apart with as even for those troglodytes the penny has finally dropped and they look stupider than her.

I used to think the US was the land of opportunity but this place has so many fools just waiting to be harvested.

It was interesting watching QI this week. They had a section on whether some of the alarming rules coming out of Brussels were true or not. Turned out some of them had been manufactured by waggish reporters in Brussels to see if the stories would make it into the papers. Some did.

My guess is none of you have the money to afford her. But I'm sure there will be plenty of suckers (not meaning you because you'd have to have money to become sucker) lining up to keep her in a life style she could become accustomed to very easily.

I was hoping she would be dumb enough to take a cheque

No I bet that's one girl who will be very money savvy. Not that she'll have the smarts to make it but has the smarts to snag someone that has it.

I am truly stunned there are (apparently) intelligent men who will stand up and say they would give her one.

Why? I am genuinely stunned, being incapable of observing one obvious quality in this individual.

There are some great girls/women out there guys. What is it with this one?

You're looking at it from the wrong end, possibly from the wrong end of the beer goggles. But really it's not even that. It's that this girl is getting national recognition. At best she should have been relegated to some local back water abc radio spot lasting no more than 5 seconds.

Her next conquest... maybe an NRL team...

I have absolutely no idea what any of you are talking about. Other than, as usual, Renth and Zulu are dipping their wikes somewhere possibly unsavoury. I can't even be bothered to google.
