Default Would you rely on Uber for an early airport run?

I'm going overseas on Saturday morning and am thinking of making my first Uber booking. The cost is a bit less than if I use a taxi but should I be worried that the Uber car doesn't turn up?

I've found Uber to be more reliable than Swan Taxis

They'd be my first choice

If you live up my way I'm happy to drop you. We're heading to Bunbury at about 9.

Admittedly, I've never had a problem with an airport pick up but have on other occasions

Uber knocks the socks off Swan taxis. Better cars, cheaper, more reliable, free water, drivers that can speak English and actually know where they are going

You should get a big discount for your 1st trip too

I've never had one not turn up either. If it's an airport run just book it for 30 minutes earlier than you need it. You can always hang out in the airport for an extra half hour.

I hope so :-)
In case mine doesn't turn up is there an emergency number to ring or can I just as easily book on on the spot?

I don't understand why anyone would use (uninsured) Uber when they can get a taxi.

Not used them yet but apparently Brisbane Uber drivers speak English. That alone is a point in their favour and makes them different from 95% of the cab drivers here.
