Hi guys.

Appreciate all the views,it helps to get a perspective from others.

Chatting to my partner tonite, guess the only thing we have to give up are our jobs,we only rent a flat, and would probably store our belongings in UK,I still have some stuff in Aus,so guess that will help when renting if unfurnished.

Guess the main issue is I can always return to UK at any time,if after 6 months,I can't find work or feel its not for me anymore, but if I allow my RRV to run out,I will never have a chance to try and make a go at living in Aus again.

sounds to me like you have already decided ;)

You only live once, so make the most of it :)

Yes. No reason to right now though.

I'd leave Australia in an instant if I could. I didn't want to come here in the first place but, since it's a young persons' playground and I was young, I played and stayed.
Now, older, and less distracted by the superficial, the reasons it didn't fit are glaringly obvious to me. I would love to return to a nice garden with friendly fauna in a village which is less than an epic journey away from a Capital or country worth visiting.
I'll admit to being curious about how serious you are about your partner? It's one thing to take risks with your own life, but don't underestimate the impact this will have on another young life.
If I was young and unemcumbered, like you, I would probably chuck it all in and grab the adventure. But remember, you'll be paying with the time of your life. :)
