I've learnt that leaving the remote for the garage door on the ledge by the front door was not a good move when having a 6 year olds birthday party. Have had to find the spare one to shut the door tonight.

That I still hate doing washing and ironing. That the weather in Cairns is just so ridiculously hot that 5 minutes outside leaves you sweating like a rapist. :(

That there isn't a cat basket for sale in Cairns for love nor money so pea brain will be back in the rucksack is this next cyclone heads our way.

That arranging to go out for a night with a group of girls involves endless hassle - putting money in a kitty, talking outfits and transport arrangement - contrasting rather badly to getting pissed with blokes, where you just haul up at a bar and get stuck in.
