Wireless routers and phones help needed!
 

Hi guys here is one for the tech heads out there.
I am heading to the Gold Coast in 4 weeks, and want to know if my adsl wireless router will work out there???? Also what type of phone jacks are available are they the same as here in the UK or do I need new phones and wireless router, ( the wireless router I have just now is for a bt /ADSL 2 connection)

Router will work fine, you'll need a different lead or adapter to plug the line in, easily findable though... Phones take a different lead as well, not sure if they'll work OK 'cos we replaced ours and although we've still got the UK ones we never used them... Have heard some will work OK, some won't but don't know for sure... Doubtless someone that does will be along in a minute... :)

Thanks for that, looks like it is the car boot sale for the phones and i'll be bringing my router along for the ride.
