Default Winter Wonderland in Brissy

Looks like they are installing an ice skating ring in St George square for a few weeks, expensive at $27 a go but would be worth a look with the kids.

Sounds like a great idea ! Yep $27 is a little on the steep side I think. Perhaps they will have some discounts/deals that will bring the price down.

Somerset house in London is about GBP10 for a day ticket I think, and that is a very nice place. So $27 for Brisbane seems a little pricey. But worth a go as you say !

We still had the remains of hail in our front yard at 9am this morning.

I've seen enough ice for one winter

Partner said they tried a ice rink at Southbank one year, reckons it was just wet and mushy, even in winter the brisbane temps just killed the ice making efforts.

Up on the coast the local rollerdome - caloundra - did an inside ice rink, was reasonable for OZ about $14 for 2 hours, my only problem with it was no limits on the amount of people on ice Saw 2 people with smashed up faces in one session

Loved taking the kids skating in canada $2 per kid !!

50 cents only buys you one finger of a four finger KitKat, which is one quarter not one half. Are you still interested?

$33 gets you 2 x adult skating sessions, including skate hire, and a couple of hot drinks. That's a pretty good price I reckon.

Only valid from 9th - 16th June.
