Default A widget - what does one look like?

Everyone knows that the widget doesn't actually exist but was nontheless invented by 'Acme Inc'. My question is, what image comes to mind when you think of a widget?

OK I haven't totally lost it! I ask because I'm searching for an image to represent a category which covers miscellaneous items.

Thanks but they don't seem to hit the spot. In terms of semantics, it can also be termed a thingamajig - an as yet unnamed or hypothetical item.

Much like a Doohickey, only with a slightly flatter topside, and a nice bevelled edge around the square bits.
