Probably not. Us women become invisible at 45

Well you never have been. What did Glenn Page say - actresses play old spinsters or District Attorneys...

My missus will still be pretty yummy at 45 I reckon.

The only thing that still has me a little unsure about this being an England victory is that this pitch is supposed to be a minefield, yet we have just seen a century partnership with one of the batsmen making his debut.

The Aussies haven't got a proper spinner. I reckon even my Dad could get the ball to turn on that pitch and we cremated him 2 1/2 years ago!

A whole different ball game, we're under no where near as much pressure as they will be, they're going to have to bat for 2 days on a pitch they don't trust to not lose the ashes. They'll be bricking it.

For a brief moment there I thought you said:

"Personally, I like the captain" :D (not implying anything)

They're only "barmy" when touring Oz. ;) When in England they are so much more refined and behave themselves = beer doesn't boil in English summers!

You'll find that a lot of the true Barmy Army fans have become disallusioned with the ECB since 05'. Since 05' ticket prices to go to test cricket in England has completely sky rocketed and they feel as though they have been sold out. I know of a lot of them that simply refuse to go to any tests in England anymore due to this.

To put it into context, a Barmy Army fan can fly and stay in W.I/Sub Continent/S.A and see 2-3 tests cheaper than they can to see one test match in England with travel, accom and tickets
