I dont understand the complaining about the wicket, in my opinion all test wickets should be like that, i thought it made for a very interesting test, the batsmen had to work hard for there runs, no one wants to see batsmen scoring hundreds of easy runs, Australia had a very bad first innings caused but did much better in the second, the pitch didnt detiriorate as much as they said it would.

The pitch is same for both teams. Surely they can't moan about that. Ican moan I've got a sore head after the after match celebration. Get in there. Big respect to Ricky Ponting top man.

I feel a bit sorry for him. He's been ripped to shreds by the Aussie media.

I've got a lot of time for Pricky in this series. All in all he has handled himself well. The only time he really pissed me off was when he made the remarks before the Oval how picking Trott reaked of desperation. In true Ponting hypocracy style he couldn't see that them picking Watson as their opener was the same. Turned out to be the selection of the series too!

Ponting is a top cricketer and a real leader. Can't beleive the aussie public can blame him for the defeat.

What have the media been saying about Ponting?
