Do you think not? Find it rather a relief after the summer to have a drop in temperature but hardly cold.
Still went swimming at Cottosloe yesterday. Did notice a thinning out of participants though. A good portion of folk around us quite evidently not being from these parts was also detected.

10 degree drop over night :(

Kids both wore jumpers to school on Thursday & my jeans have been worn again for the first time in 5-6 months. When we arrived here 7 months ago this weather would have felt nice & warm to us but sat in the garden yesterday morning I had to put a jumper on. We must be acclimatising

The photo of a rammed Brighton beach has just made me laugh  That temperature here & I have my jumper on & would only consider heading to the beach for a walk & we've only been here 7 months :o

As for a hosepipe ban I don't think it was ever lifted when we were living in Bedfordshire.

Cold this morning- back to scraping condensation off the inside of the windows to stop the spread of mould.
I've been in jeans for 2 weeks, though I did go into the sea at Avoca on Saturday- lovely and warm in the water, in fact warmer than my swimming pool.

It was 9degC at 6.15am this morning. Too bloody cold! (And too bloody early, but that's a different matter)

Having said that, I do love this time of year - smell of woodsmoke in the air, beautiful bright sunny days, chilly nip at night and all the leaves turning brown.

S'lovely.
