There was a sex party apparently. Missed it, didn't bother opening it all, stopped at the pot party.

Great result for Tasmania, they can now strip mine the areas that are left after they have turned the old growth forests into woodchip. Well done Smiths, Jones, Phillips and the other five surnames in the Apple Isle

Ok who's seen a Australian General strike before

Should see what happens at the retail bottle shops, drive in bottle shops and Petrol stations.

Next 12 months will tell.

It was a tough choice for me. The Hunters & Fishers were running 2 candidates in our area - Bow and Park. On the other hand the Sex Party were running a candidate called Palmer. Talk about your names matching what you do!

In the end I voted Hemp. Then stopped at Coles to pick up some munchies.

I wonder what percentage of voters actually vote below the line?

What a farce of an electoral system: it brings the word "democracy" into Monty Python territory.

Despite knowing that by voting above the line, I had no control regarding the preference allocations, the fact is we have 2 kids under 5 years of age and simply did not have the time to spend 30+ minutes filling in boxes at the local polling station !

I was an 'abover' !
