Bob Geldof - dirty, smelly, arrogant twat of a man - on a flight from LHR to Edinburgh.

I also sat next to Billy Connolly in the waiting area at Sydne Bridge Climb.

When we first arrived we looked at a flat to rent in St Kilda on an open house when a tall, tanned, wearing sunnies girl walked in. We assumed she was "someone" when all the other viewers started whispering amongst themselves...having just arrived we had no idea who she was but assume it was someone from Neighbours.

Hubby stood next to Nathan from Pack to the Rafters at the baggage carousel at Sydney Airport a few months ago, he amazed himself that he actually recognised someone off the telly!

It's all so exciting here in Oz......

KK

p.s. I used to work for the BBC many moons ago and the only famous person I got to see was Jimmy Young outside Broadcasting House despite many trips into said building. Never got whisked away by a famous rock start outside Radio 1's HQ...

Noel Edmonds once visited my office to buy some aviation pictures for his helicopter company but chose my day off to do it! Oh...and we had a called from Harrison Fords "office" to buy a helicopter poster!

Must have been a bit cramped... and those bombers in the background look a bit worrying.

Who?

Just thought of another when my daughter was in hospital in the 80's she was in a bed next to Jon English's daughter but we never saw him only his wife as he was on tour or summit.......
