The WHO
As no one has startd a thread I will give some feedback.
IMO it was a great concert. The WHO can still produce the goods and 'Counting Crows', are also a great band. All in all a good evening spoilt only by some idiotic decision to have some minor road works on the gateway motorway which led to traffic chaos after the event. It took me nearly 2 hours to get back to Toowong from the entertainment centre....90 minutes of which was covering a couple of miles:curse: Still a good evening and the whole show lasted for about 5 hours:thumbup: G |

Totally agree - it was a fantastic concert - just brilliant. we cannot believe that pete townshend and roger daltrey are going to be getting their bus passes soon! and Zak Starkey on drums was just great (he's Ringo Starr's son we think?)
It made us realise one negative about being in australia - so bloody far away from some great gigs as i doubt some of our fave bands would come this far. |

Roger Daltrey was 65 earlier this month:ohmy:....doesn't look it though. Zak Starkey is Ringo's son amd Pete Townshend's brother Simon was one of the guitarists. G |

The Gateway has had roadworks on it for 3 1/2 years that I know of. I guess it'll be finished one day :unsure: Never had the urge to see The Who. Wouldn't have minded seeing Counting Crows though. Glad you had a good time though :D
