white van man
moving to gold coast in october but wondered why you dont see many tradesmen with vans it all seems to be utes is there any reason why.
surely its easier to pick up materials and leave tools in a van rather than a ute
and less chance of getting tools nicked.
by the way im talking from personal experiance ive had pickups and vans and find a van much more practical
any info appreciated

Ryan will getting a transit over there as he is a joiner so has lots of tools to lug about, he has this one there is all racked out for his tools so it still has enough room for materials.
What job do you do

Oh i dont no, Ryan is gutted he is getting rid of the Nailed On Work Bus they are quite close. He will be getting one over there, as a pick-up wont be much use, as you will no you need that many tools. It wont be so bad at first as he is going to go employed till he finds his feet then hopfully he will then go solo like he is here.

Most tradies have a Ute as it's simply more practicle to have one. Chippies usually tow a builders trailer with their tools in, the compressor sits on the A-bar the tools inside the trailer.
We tow a builders trailer as it's easier than emptying the Ute each Friday ready for a fishing or camping trip. The Ute serves a dual purpose as it also tows the boat.

Re: white van man
No problem taking a Ute & trailer here, most blocks here are min 5 acres so plenty of parking space. I had a white van in the U.K it stayed there
