Someone quoted 60% over the last 2 years. Gulp! Not sure if it's true, but we definately get a lot less now for our money than we did this time last year on our reccie. Wish we'd put a deposit on a new build then.:unsure:

Ahhh back at work tomorrow night working sat sun tues wed, then...we are off to Rome next weekend, cant wait. Always wanted to go (maybe its a lapsed catholic thing:ohmy:) but got really good flights with jet2.com last year and we said lets do it before we go to oz (thinking we would be off pretty soon:huh:). cant wait:thumbsup:

...first time our 21 month old has flown too so will be a good practise for when we go to oz:rofl:

I know just from when i looked at realestate oz last may house prices seem to have gone up, but my cousin out there reckons there is still loads of bargains to be had..so dont loose heart. We are going to rent first anyway and a banking friend is predicting a housing fall ..hmm we'll see

I know how you feel, the houses stoped selling as soon as we put our house up for sale.The house prices have gone up in australia. and now to top it off
the exchange rate is very low, sometimes i think someones trying to tell us sommat:huh:

yey hi mate! Watched it this morning though son was throwing toys at me at the time and i had to keep turning volume up to hear it:rofl:. Flagstaff hill is in our area we are looking at..even my friend rang to ask me if i was awatching and we all agreed on the first house.
