Born in Dundee, lived there 20 year.Married a Yorkshireman and moved to Sheffield for 15 years.Living in WA for last 17 years. (think accent is a bit mixed at present).That will change as we are moving home to Scotland in the next 12 months, moving to Morayshire or Highlands.

From, and currently in, Redcar in Teesside. 20 years here and then 20 years in Leeds mean I don't really fit in either but to most I'm just from 'Yorkshire'.

Never thought I had an accent but these WA folks take the piss on a daily basis and tell me I'm not pronouncing my name correctly......
Apparently I should be saying "Jen" and not "Jan"
