I love the names of the places in UK. We live in a section of the city with all English names. For instance, I live on Lynington Court right across from Shropshire Court, which is off Cavendish Dr., which is accessable from Coventry Way, which is near Sheffield St, which is off Leominster Dr, which runs paralell to Manchester and Middlesmoor. If you look out my back window you will be looking at the houses on Glastonbury Dr. Would you like me to go on?

Dotnron -
we live on Beech Ave and there is a Sycamore Av and Chestnut Av joining to Ash Square. They ran out of Avenues
Must be the men in the big tall offices who can't be arsed to think of 'different' street names

Oh, yes. Leominster Dr. runs into Manchester St, right between Devlin Dr and Holyhead. It's a couple of blocks away from me over by Gillingham Dr. Although, as far as pronouncing the names, we probably don't say them the same way you do. My grandmother was from Windsor and was just like the wonderful Queen Mum. She never went out without her purse and hat and gloves. She was in Canada for 50 years before she died and never lost her accent. She also got me addicted to On the Buses, Are You Being Served and Coronation Street, so I understand the different accents pretty well. It's not really the British names I have a problem with, it's going to be those Ozzy names!! Booragoon? Cooloongup? What is with that?
