ok guys as the title said ,
where can i get rose water & marzipan from ,
made the mistake in askin kev [hubby] what sort of birthday cake he would like me to make fruit or sponge & he said fruit so i wanna marzipan it then ice ,
rose water for turkish delight & coconut ice ,
hav looked in coles etc , but maybe just not lookin in right place .

I can buy Rose water in my local IGA... and marzipan

Make your own marzipan Debs it's easy:
400g ground almonds
2 cups icing sugar mixture
2 egg whites, lightly beaten
2 teaspoons brandy YES teaspoons

As for the rose water some woolies stores have it or you could probably get rose water essence.

You'll get marzipan in Coles next to the sugar and icing sugar.

dont think we have safeway on sunny coast do we ?? or a franklin .

may hav to get mother to bring it over from uk on sat along with the twiglets .

so have u tried this out yourself & did u just add the brandy to this ingredients as you'll most likely b havin a piece of cake
sound v interesting so me thinks im gonna hav to giv it a go , do u need to leave it a while b4 using ?
