It's obvious, they are clearing up after themselves. As competent tradies, they should have done their work, but damaged everything else around them, leaving desolation. When, confronted, the answer would be "done my bit, I'm off" :rofl:

If they are working up to the bollards then they need an extra 1m exclusion zone so some pedestrian doesn't wander through where they are working, trip, and sue the pants off them. They are merely following regulations, stupid as it may seem.
