What's on the wish list?

Re: What's on the wish list?
We are flying to the UK on the 6th, so don't want snow when we land- getting onto the M4/M40 in the evening rush hour (I think we get there on a friday too,) in a hire car will be stressful enough without snow.

Heh, you may still be there on the Saturday .... Why not get public transport to your destination, then get the hire car ?

Re: What's on the wish list?
Doesnt cost anything to unbook it, no cancellation fee afaik.... Especially if you just change the pick up venue.
Not in Aus anyway.
The only thing I can see against it, is traversing public transport with heavy cases ? Which I'll admit could make PT a non starter.
Pretty good public transport links from Heathrow.
Sorry if my input is causing confusion, but personally I'd do anything to avoid sitting in a traffic jam after 24 hours of flying..... Or are you stopping over.
Am I on the right track here, do others know ?

Depending on what time you land, you can always grab a coffee at the airport before setting off to miss the worst of the traffic.
Just be careful of the variable speed limit - if there's a posted change, then the speed cameras are active too
