Broome: probably my favourite place in Aus after the Wet Tropics.

Surprisingly civilised little place; great little shops; beautiful location, great wildlife.

I also love the area around Exmouth/Cape Range National Park.

Two places sprung instantly to mind, the first was Bargara the second 1770. We have visited both again just recently & both have been completely spoiled by recent commercial development. When we first visited about 9 years ago they were lovely.
There's a cafe in Dalby that is outstanding, best Lambs Fry Breakfast in the world

[QUOTE=Broad Shoulders;9799024]following on from the other thread, I thought this might add some balance.

Where have you been that isn't normally in the top "must see" places on the tourist brochures that you really liked?

I can't think of anything right now, but I am sure one will spring to mind soon[/QUO
