Re: what are your best memories fron 2007
2007 was not a great year for me, so not really a lot of fond memories from it. I guess if I had to choose something it would have to be the time I worked at the Women's and Children's hospital in Adelaide. They were really great to me there. I got to meet some really great co-workers and some really inspiring patients/parents.

My son starting and soon thriving at school here.
My missus passing her driving test and getting her first car. Me passing my bronze medallion, learning to drive an IRB and being able to drive the club's quad bike up and down Seven Mile Beach. Going surfing and being joined by a pod of dolphins. :) |

I had a really big dump after being constipated for over a week. It was so big I had to flush twice midway.

LOL... Best thing this year for me, was watching real football grow in this country. Being at the A-League final was a particular highlight.... It's ended alright today as well... MV still have a chance of making the finals, and theres a smidgeon of light shining on their Asian campaign as well. Other than that, maybe a tad sentimental... no more looking after infants for us... first time since 1983 since we could leave our house, without a babysitter (or much older sibling) having to look after our kids... A massive change in our lifestyle. Mind you the youngest is still barely 10 years old, the 14 year old takes care of him now, when we grab a couple of hours in the evening. |

My son getting an award at school for the most improved pupil voted by his teachers and passing 10 GCSEs. He has caused me to go grey with his previous behavior at school and i have had to beg the headmaster to let him stay. The joys of being a mother!
Spending a night fishing in Perth and seeing dolphins and a shark and meeting some mad but wonderful people. It only cost me five dollars for bait and was one of the best nights of my life. Having my friends all gather round me and support me when i dumped my boyfriend. Bringing me chocs and cigs and telling me over and over again he is just not worth it. Being offered a midwifery job in Perth. Heres to 2008, happy new year:thumbsup: |
