I know it will totally do my head in but I just feel the need. Will be checking availabilty of pet sitter and flights when we get back to Sydney next week.
You have to go then. Your sister needs you.

Tried to send K but have to spread.

On the beach or by pool, soaking up beer, surfing and then bbq.

Cold Christmas is for polar bears.

Christmas here does often turn out to involve torrential rain and strong gales by the way........ At the very least you can expect a good storm or two, if you're good I'll try and organise a cyclone

That's nothing - we used to get a special festive thrashing once an hour or thereabouts..

That's OK, I allocate time every day to remember your misfortune...

I particularly like Christmas in the southern hemisphere not sure yet where we will be...

Mr Boyle - is that an offer?

I'll have to speak to she who must be obeyed, but I don't see why not.

its funny bernie, a lot of people would think you were joking about this. but a few of us know this is the kind of person you are.

if everyone would just give a little bit of their time, any time of year to others the world would be a better place

It wouldn't surprise me with all those buttons you have in front of you at work.

"Hmmmmm I think I'll press the red cyclone button today!"

Default Re: What are you doing for Christmas?

My folks arrive in two weeks and they head back to UK on 5th Dec so we'll have early Christmas with them and then OH folks have this Christmas in UK (they alternate) so we'll do Christmas by ourselves and then do it all again when OH folks arrive late January! (They're a bit concerned when I start on the fizz for breakfast Christmas morning, only slowly of course but it's my family tradition to have bubbles with smoked salmon breakfast! )

Busy time of year irrigating spuds so we're working for a fair bit of it but no doubt there will be some river skiing and lots of beer drinking.

Really can't wait - started Christmas shopping yesterday

I'll be doing a rather passable impersonation of a beached whale, sweating my proverbials off and making it known to all who will listen that I'm uncomfortable and it's Mr GG's fault. I'll be 38 weeks pregnant and looking forwards to the new year, when I'll get a much better present than I'm expecting for Christmas.

Fingers crossed you get an early christmas present

Absolutely no idea what we'll be doing, it's ages away and no one is going to tell me different.
