What was it and why...........
 

For most of the morning today there was a huge plane flying along the coast NOR, mostly around Burns, Mindarie and Quinns.
Looked a bit like an old bomber plane to me. Anyone know what it was and what it was doing?? :confused:

Seriously though, I haven't a clue. Airforce manouvres? Air sea rescue drill? Air show? Got any bushfires that way? Could be spotting...

Yeah, it's a no fly zone due to military restrictions, so probably why Sandra is asking. When we flew to Rottnest Island, this is what we were told, we could only go as far north as the Hillarys. I wonder if it's for shark spotting or something to so with the whale washed up at Yanchep?
