EDIT: The herr flick image nails it!

Hmmm...lots of 'period' German references...he he which interest me as I was telling someone only the other day how German my son looks - he's a dead ringer and a shoe-in for the Waffen SS...with his blonde hair and blue eyes...have we produced a monster?

TiddlyPom - good on you for going against the run of play!

There is a lot said by her actions the other night. I would say, even if she only married him for his money in the beginning, she has some sort of feelings for him know otherwise she would have stood back and hoped he got topped but she tried to take the pie throwers head off. Even his son looked very hesitant to do anything.

But what about 51 year old guys that marry 16 year old girls. Now that is twisted.

"Don't stand between me and my paycheck."

The real problem is the Australian media are concentrating on the pie in the face, rather than the really poor showing of Murdoch Sr. Honestly, the degree to which he seemed 'out of it' explains his poor judgement over the past few years. Any sane shareholder would want both of them gone, and soon.

Ya but when he dies she'd get a good payout and not have to bone the old bugger anymore. Most likely not half the fortune but you can bet it would be better than winning any lottery as she's borne him two yard apes. I kept watching it and was actually confused at first because they kept referring to her as his wife and then googled it.

I was up last night watching it live. Was in excruciating pain and thought that the proceedings would have put me into a coma... Personally I thought the son was even worse than the old duffer. He was truly weird. Kinda reminds me of myself.

He was engaging in the age old task of trying to bullshit the committee and spin out the answers to waste time. Only thing was, he wasn't very good at it - actually saying "that is a very good question" several times. Honestly, that's so transparent he obviously has never had someone tell him to 'cut the crap'.

I think the report of the committee will say the two of them were either lying (and they will have got many instances of differences between their testimony and known facts from last night), and/or they were showing insufficient governance and oversight of group activities (I don't know). I think they run the real risk of getting assessed as 'unfit' - hence the need for the shareholder to dump them quick.

It seems to me that if you were a man like Murdoch you'd want a girl with a brain as well as a tight pussy, Asian etc or not. If I wanted a girl with a brain and a tight pussy I would not limit my searches to Asian girls...

The Melbourne press carried stories on both.
