what do you hate about Oz?
As an expat, what do you hate about this country? I am not an Oz expat yet so I would like to ask you guys what are the cons of living in Oz.
Hope this post won't get messy!

Add to the list prickly grass, I mean why can't they have soft grass like everywhere else? Is it really that difficult? It really does spoil the fantasy 'outdoor lifestyle' I'd created in my own mind as a preconception, previous to ever setting foot in Australia.

Now, much as I'd like to go 'in deep' with this fresh subject that hasn't been done to death I have a bloody great hole to continue digging. I fear I shall need to miss out on the philosophical insights that will inevitably ensue.
On topic - I hate expats in Oz that try to act as typo and spelling police.

"The lack of" by the way.
"I concur" by the way.
What would lead you to believe such an innocuous question would lead to such a thing?
