Default what barbie did you buy?

we are buying a new one and the one we like the look of has a large glass window in the hood. Do you have one with this feature and if so what do you think of it? Is it useful or is it covered with baked on grease so you cant see through it anyway?
Do you have any comments good or bad about the features of your barbie?

I bought an entry-level Jackaroo which was $199 and has done us fine for over 3 years. However I am about to convert the barbie to mains gas so I may well invest in a better one and donate my old one to the local school.

We are looking to get our first ever BBQ - been here nearly 3 years and still don't have one.

Seen one in BBQs Galore for just under $400, I dont know if that is good or bad but Mr PP likes it and as it will be his 'toy' for his cheffy type stuff, thats the one he will get.

Ive seen those little Webber things, heard they are quite good as well. Actually I cant wait till we have our first BBQ Although I have had to bring my garden chairs in as my Kelpie had a good chew on one.

We bought a Bunning's one. It's a 4 burner and has a side wok burner (which we've used once ) Still going strong after 3 years.

I only wanted one with a side burner as in the summer I got sick of half cooked meals when a storm would come through and blow the power for a few hrs. It was cheaper than buying a new gas hob for the kitchen.

Buy a cheap one , throw it away next year and get the equivalent cheaper, save having to clean the thing.... its a win win situation

That's what I love about my Webber Q 200.

Cooks great like an oven with lid shut...you just open once half way through....webber quality parts built to last...and "really" easy to clean.
