Website design

Guys

Can anyone recommend a website designer that doesn't cost a bomb? Under 2k?

We have made our own sites before, but with taking over the business right now we just don't have the time. But we can update and maintain them no problem.

Thanks

WV

I believe Hutch's wife is a self-employed website designer by profession. Search for "Hutch" and send him a PM.

We already own a domain name, I just wanted the contents changed, and found someone who's totally switched on for a killer price:thumbsup:

Thanks

Bugger I cant believe I missed this one!!

I'm a website designer (newly qualified) and would have offered a very good price - but I see I'm too late!

Never mind - good luck with whoever you've got - hope they do a cracking job for you :)

Just curious, what would something with lets say 1600 pages cost

Even a simple guess for the most simple of setups

It really does depend on what those pages would contain. You're generally looking at around $80-$100 per page (plus extras for forms, flash etc etc) for an information site for example - but if its an ecommerce site (shop) then thats completely different. It could just be a case of paying for the home page to be set up and then purchasing the ecommerce software to go with it (around $400 maybe?). It would then be up to the website owner to input the details of each specific item they wanted to sell.

If I knew what sort of site you were looking at I could give you a better idea?
