Only about 4 months which isn't long at all! (not meaning to frighten you or anything ;))

Is there a lot to do when you come back over, or will it be any easier this time?

At least you haven't got a house to sell

I understand your main reason for going back.

But out of pure curiosity, as you are now someone who's tried both up over and down under, how did you find the UK and why have you decided to come back to Aus instead of staying in the land of hope and glory?

As has been said same sh!t shinier bucket thing, both have good and bad points both expensive in different ways, both my boys want to come back loved it, me, I like both and my dad made me promise not to stay here for him but didn't do as I was told and stayed anyway, but now my mum is nearly frog-marching me to the plane, not wanting to sound too daily mail but in the last 18 months it has really changed, really getting expensive to live and yes know it not cheap in oz.

I wish you lots of luck & it is lovely that your mum is so supportive of your move, particularly under the circumstances.

Cheers...my son has no urge to go back so not pushing it and we have zero urge so don't feel the need as rel's all keep coming here at present. Like you say pro's and con's to both and eating out and staying in hotels or motels here I think is still dam site cheaper than UK so easier to have some time away for not a lot.

On the Daily Mail front what did you think were the biggest changes? I watch Sky UK news out of interest to what is happening in UK but it still doesn't give you the real impression of what's going on.
