We bought our first Aussie house.
We just bought a house, how quick and painless is that compared to the UK

where abouts in aus are you ? Did you find work a struggle and how long did it take you all to get settled Its great hearing posts llike this Well done and enjoy

We live in Narre Warren at the mo, but our new house is in Upper Beaconsfield.
I found a job after 3 weeks without a CV
, I love my job ( I work at Clark Rubber) the kids love it here too, now the kids are back at school my hubbie is looking for work.
Everyone warned me that I would be homesick, but the worst thing for me is feeling guilty that I don't feel homesick, I really have not had time, with so much going on.
When you get here grab Oz by the short and curlies and let them know you've arrived, and then just sit back and enjoy the ride.
Where are you in the UK? as we left Winsford to com here you must be closeish being "True Blue' an all.

Hi, I'm back, all the first time buyers paperwork has been sorted by the financial guy,( he's been great) it will just get sorted at settlement.
