We become citizens today!
 

Yay!!! Three years and three days since we arrived in Oz as PR we have our citizenship ceremony this evening (me, OH and our three kids). Feels like the end of a very long journey - I LOVE Australia :D

Yes - it was a shame it's not barbie weather! I always had this rather cliched fantasy of getting citizenship in the sunshine overlooking the water.... Oh well, we went out for Chinese after instead which is probably more representative of modern Sydney.

It has been two years now since we became Australian. It was a special night. We planted our free trees up, when we bought our first house. They are a good size now.
