When the Romans started to kill and subjugate the British people, or more specifically the English, the smart ones ran for Wales..................it was a safe place to go, they knew the Romans would never follow them in to the hills so it was the best place to go.
Therefore, the true English, before the French, or Norman blood, ended up in Wales.
Oh and the juvenile insults goes with the territory I'm afraid.

The English (Saxon and Angles) did not arrive in Britain until after the Romans had left. If fact the English hadn't even been invented when the Romans invaded Britain.
