If they don't go down that road I would stick with Lennon.
Levein not a chance too big a job for him at this time
Unfortunately our biggest targets at the minute would appear to be Sol Campbell, Stephen Reid and Jimmy Bullard
That's not going to get the faithful off their backsides and Mark Hughes won't be interested if that's the extent of our ambition.

Spoke to Krissy Commons earlier, he reckons Levein has handed his notice to the Scottish FA and will now join your lot. I don't care who you get just aslong as its not Billy Davis!! Davis though has a pretty good chance of being sacked from Forest within the next 24 hours.

Yes, but that is not the point is it. You have admitted on here that you will actively support anyone England is playing and want us to fail, which is a totally different and petty proposition

Everytime they have been in a WC in fact. I know it's been a while since your lot were there and even longer for the Irish but I think you will find that most English supporters will also back their neighbours when they play other nations. Unfortunately in my experience the Scots do not return the favour (Kporte is an exception to that rule I have found). I know plenty of Irish who will support England if their team is not there. If only your people could get over those petty century old rivalries.
I was truely gutted to see that spirited Scottish side narrowly lose to Brazil in France in 98'. Unfortunately for them it all went downhill from there on.

To be honest, they follow your principle with the Rugby but football is one where they realise that their own team so rarely gets to compete in a WC that they may as well back the English. But it is certainly not the same stubborn petty reasons most of the Scots seem to have.
