Well said. I can see where BS is coming from. There's nothing wrong with 'not supporting England', but to support any team against them is petty.

I dunno, not really any different from club level - I'll support any team thats playing against West Ham or Arsenal, for instance, gives the games an extra edge after all if you are behind one team or the other

I thought I had quoted him word for word.

Me, a closet Scouse. Not a chance. I don't even have a collection of 'acquired' hub caps at home.

I meant practically as you were referring to Liverpool rather than Everton.

Merc badges you say.. I hadn't realised that Liverpool had moved so up market. Surely you would slip and slide on those Merc leather seats in your shiny trackie bottoms?

Mercs aren't that classy, especially the ones you get round Liverpool! Shiny trackie bottoms ? I haven't worn them in years!

They were pink and purple, you couldn't light up next to me, what with the shell suit and a can of hairspray in my hair I'd have been burnt to a cinder!

I first read that as "Mancs aren't that classy" I was going to agree with you.

Looks like the USA may forfeit the first game, they are having trouble finding South Africa as the following shows.
