That sounds like an agent, if so I would get it checked out before you part with your cash, some agency will say anything to get your buisness. I havent heard of them before, but that doesnt mean they aren't any good. Personnally I would go by recommendation off here. Some agents that spring to mind are George Lombard, Alan Collett, Go Matilda all have very good reps. If you do a search in the immigration section for Think Australia someone may have used them before too. And always use one thats a fixed fee thats the best advice I can give you.

Re: warning nubie alert
I asked my doctor about medicalproblems as I'm semi disabled with a olt of back problems but she said she's known a lot of people go from her surgery with a lot worse than my back, ashma, arthritis, heart probs etc etc, so I dont think you need to worry on that score. i think they are mainly excluding people that have had cancer, TB or have HIV. As these people will bea drain on their hospitals.
Hope this helps a bit.

However it always scares me that folk go to Australia having never ever even seen the place first hand. Sure its 3000 out of the budget but believe me its cheaper in the long run if you decide its not for you. Not too mention the stress of packing up your life and transplanting it miles away , selling your house , months waiting on a visa etc.
Not saying don't go just do yourself a favour and force your self to read the returning to the UK forum. I forced myself to read it , as in the Australia section its "Oz is Brillant we cant wait to go!!" Its always good to see why people return.
This site will always have people to help you whatever.

The joint application bit was solved by me signing a stat dec saying that I would never bring (ex)wife into the country and the daughter could not use me as a sponsor to emigrate later in life.
Once that was sorted they found my B P was sky high (surprise surprise).Told me to see a specialist at the RVI. A talk to him and he explained that it was probably due to the stress I was under at the time, try to calm down and come back in 6 months.
Went back and BP had dropped but still high.Went back about 3 or 4 months after that and everything was OK.
Lot of hassle etc at the time but it was worth it.

Just please be aware that due to the current global financial crisis a turndown in demand for construction may be imminent. That said, Rudd Labor government has a housing program it's putting in place that will benefit those in the building related trades who can get a piece of the action. If you can get more info on it and the building industry's current and projected state, I think that would be helpful to you.

The bit about your doctor saying she has had other patients go, I would take that with a grain of salt. Unless she is a DIAC approved panel doctor she would not know what the exclusion criteria is.
No, you don't have to be at death's door. You have to have a condition which would impact negatively on Australia's economy.

they feel like a round peg in a square hole in oz (as well as keep up with the Jones)
and a lot of people want to move from the USA back to England ,a lot fewer from oz
peeps missing family that they left back in England
does that sound about right?
still does not put me off.
