Fair point, this fracking party is more stressful to arrange than our wedding ... clean everything, get food, get booze ... No word of a lie I have driven for over an hour tonight to get cake-making equipment ... Bi-Lo has never looked better in Logan

The drop bears are a menace to the doonas too, they don't mention that in the brochures.

May have been mentioned before but cant help myself as that program really annoys me at times!!

People complain about houses and what they want and it isnt what they expected!! Have they ever heard of google...ok you might never have been before but it aint difficult to have a wee look and see what houses are like!!

Also why is it always the people why get told they will work more hours for less pay always think its a good idea....and the ones who get told the opposite say they prefer the uk!!

Also got stupidly boring of recent times due to visa change over its always Adelaide or Darwin....the odd Gold Coast thrown in!!

Anyway sorry about that!! Nice to meet you all!!

These people go for 1 week!

If your willing to emigrate then you have to accept it, if some in the family got ill its obvious the heartbreak it would cause and homesickness would also be really hard, but you have to make a decision!

These people hadnt even applied for their visa and are shown a video of their family and their balling their eyes when their off home the next day!

Lets get real if you emigrate then missing people back home and someone getting is something you have to accept is a real possibility!

Yes it will be hard when the time comes the a family member becomes sick or someone passes away, unfortunately this will happen! But as you say, 1week away and they watch a video and they are crying away...come on get real they will be at the airport to pick you up in 48hrs when you get home!!

The flight is another one that gets me...I know its 24hrs but I didnt think it would be that long....really how long do you think 24hrs is!! All of a sudden they relise that they are far away from home!! What the looking at a map couldn't have told you that!!

Grrr!! Always gets me annoyed!! Although if they are looking for people to make a new series could do with a flight to oz....

Bear in mind that the programme is very heavily edited to get something that will appeal to viewers. Posters that have appeared in this type of programme have commented in the past about how the editing is all slanted towards making them fit a certain mould, when in fact in reality the family are rather different - and their experience of Aus is often rather different from that portrayed as well.
