might be a whole different matter if you're actually in the stadium - on the TV I've spotted several people in the crowd wearing ear defenders.

I was not even watching (well him indoors was) and we were both sick of the bloomin things, I think they should be banned (seriously) as how on earth can the players play through that.
you now when someone says to you"have you heard that noise?"...
then all you can here is that bleedin noise?well..............
have you noticed all those african people blowing those bleedin trumpet things all through the game..?...
its bleedin worse than the noise your fridge makes all nite?
