Default UK for Xmas half the price of some airlines!!

Asiana airlines Sydney to Heathrow, $1771 INCLUDING all taxes, fees, charges whatever you want to call them.

Departures up to Nov 30. Very good reviews on this airline however I am sure someone will point out they fall out the sky each tuesday or something.

Catch is it expires today but if your desperado for a Uk trip its a bloody bargain price and gets you in to UK in time for xmas.

Mince pie anyone

Yes I know, sorry but didnt find it till yesterday and at first I ignored it, thinking crap airline, wont be any seats... then curiosity got the better of me and I snapped up me and 2 kids to Uk return for under $5000. Partner cant come has to work, but this can be my Xmas gift, will save him shopping

So have you booked then?

I need to be back by Dec. House sale or not. I'm halfway to the looney bin already.
Even if i loved my life here, Xmas just isn't the same and would always go back to UK for Xmas. Just the cost of it is a joke.

Yep, went into flight centre, asked if they would match the price and it was as easy as snapping up a new pair of shoes

Like you cannot stand Xmas here, its the pits and the cost is a joke, we were getting quotes of up to $3500 each for first week of december so this was brilliant

Just have to tell partner now

Three Legs is an unknown quantity at this point
Default Re: UK for Xmas half the price of some airlines!!

We went back for a month last Christmas and if I'm being honest, was fed up after two weeks ...

We'd seen everyone, caught up on the gossip, had a few drinks in the local, enjoyed the Turkey BUT ...

Our friends had moved on, we'd moved on ...

Great seeing everyone but Beach cricket down Mullaloo with an ice cold carton and oodles of bbq'd seafood whips the UK's arse every time ...

I was hoping to have had a UK Christmas this year but DS has been sidelined on his course again because of a leg injury and wont be completing in December as we had initially hoped. Maybe Easter next year instead - fingers crossed. Actually, when I was looking, I could have got a Qantas return for about $1700 leaving before 24 November and was all set to book - just as well I didnt really

Have a great time, I am green with envy!!!

Good that we're all different. Two weeks back there and one week was crap weather and we were over it. Several weeks at christmas in the UK is my idea of hell

Last time we went back for Xmas and new year none of us wanted to come back to Oz. Loved it, even the weather. Sat in my best mates house the day before we had to leave and sobbed my heart out as she'd arranged for most of our friends to come round and have a drink with us to say cheerio.

I'd go home this year again, but I get far too upset.
