I enjoyed Midsomer Murders (the detective drama series) too.

Life on Mars, Ashes to Ashes, Dr Who (new series started yesterday in the UK with Matt Smith), Being Human (if you like something slightly dark), everybody saying Top Gear that goes without saying though.

I enjoyed Griff Rhys Jones' programmes on mountains and rivers.

QI is available on ABC iView if you don't feel like downloading it.

PS: The first series was called Mountain. The river series still has a couple of programmes on ABC iView http://www.abc.net.au/iview/

I've recently caught up with some old Jonathan Meades stuff.

Top Gear, obviously.

Watching Spaced again too (using the quaint method of a DVD box set).

Charlie Brooker's Screenwipe was also good.

Hippies was fun (a 1 series mini-classic sit-com with Simon Pegg)

I would watch Green Wing again now, and Black Books, and Father Ted ...

Alan Partridge and Saxondale was great (Steve Coogan)

And my OH is re-educating me on The Goodies (saw them live in Brisbane ...)

I like How Not To Live Your Life too.

Loads of good stuff ... too little time ... favourite Aussie show? Good News Week ... ideal antidote to a typical Monday.

Gavin & Stacy.

I'm sure you will love it.....funny script, great characters and it is very "british". Great music in the background too.

Go on...you know you want to watch it....

Worst week of my life.... 3 different topics... Christmas and One and Two. I think two is Wedding.

Pulling series One and Two..... Only show I know of besides Only fools and Horses set in South London, around the bottom of Gypsy Hill by the looks of the road, up to the Aerials.
